The rules of playing roulette game depends on the particular variant being played. For beginners, there are very different percentages to consider.

European roulette has a house advantage of just 2.70% while the American roulette game has a house edge of 5.26%. French roulette also has different percentages into play, because of it’s unique La Partage rule.

When you have selected which type of roulette game you want to play, the betting selection process begins. There is a minimum and maximum bet required in every roulette table. The size of the bet can accomodate both low and high rollers with plenty of ways they can put up or down their bets. Players also have an option to place their bets on individual numbers, group of numbers, red/black, odds/evens and a lot more. Each betting option has a unique payout.

The most lucrative method of betting are the inside bets- the individual numbers with a payout of 35:1.

Inside bets have the best payouts with the lowest probability of occurring.

Outside bets pay more often at lower overall payouts.

All payouts at the roulette table are based on the outcome;individual number bets are the highest paying bets. Bets can be placed even while the ball is spinning until the dealer calls for ‘No more bet’.

The winning chips will remain on the roulette board until the player collects them.
